We at EcoBespoke have begun a video series based on Food Packaging Printing and Design called "Canvas To Crust". In this series, we will select food brands that catch our eye on social media and craft three boxes based on their aesthetic. These boxes will be Kraft, White, and finally a more abstract design.
Where Did Canvas To Crust Come From?
Canvas To Crust as a name came from the concept of taking an idea for customised printed packaging from an idea to an actual product. Transforming the artwork created into something tangible. Henceforth, Canvas To Crust was the name selected.
Now obviously the idea for this series came before the name. The reason why we wanted to undertake this project stemmed from conducting research about our base target audience concerning those in the market for printed packaging. There are several exquisite brands out there, particularly on social media, that have incredible branding and online presence, showing the care and attention in which they put into the products that they create. Typically these brands are smaller outfits and do not have the time necessary to put into placing their energy for their food into their packaging. This is where we can step in and provide a possible solution.
From our Canvas to Crust series, we are firstly designing packaging for these companies (which providing they like our designs) can save them time in designing these boxes themselves and save money on paying a graphic designer to work on this for them. This also allows us to make these companies aware of who we are and the products that we bring to the table. Many takeaway food business owners believe printed packaging to be a luxury that they can't really afford. We believe that our prices are some of the best that the market can offer and help to bust that myth. The final reason for this video series is because of the networking possibilities that it brings to those involved. We aim to be able to work with more and more companies on this project and highlighting the work done along the way helps bring other companies with us. Collectively building up an audience which would prove beneficial to all parties involved.
When Will Canvas To Crust Launch?
We haven't got a launch date set in stone as of present because we feel that as the project is very much based around video content a lot of what is produced has to occur somewhat naturally. This isn't a series that can be done by rushing things through because time needs to be taken to ensure that the content produced is of a high enough quality.
However, all of the background work is being done behind the scenes and some designs for many different brands are in production. The series is expected to be commencing very soon.
What happens after we've been on Canvas To Crust?
Just had your packaging designed by us? At EcoBespoke following you're inclusion we hold you under no obligation to purchase these boxes. We don't want the owners of the brands involved in these videos to feel as though they have to place a purchase because their business has had some awesome boxes designed for them.
For those that do want to place an order of printed boxes following their inclusion on Canvas To Crust then we will be offering a discounted rate on this order providing a 25% discount. This will be eligible following the release of that episode for a single-time use. Repeat orders following this will be charged at our standard price.
Will You Be Taking Requests?
Recommendations for this series in terms of brands reaching out to work with us or viewers suggesting businesses are more than welcome. These companies will have to be vetted by us personally to see if they are suited to our series. We cannot promise to action on every recommendation that we receive but will look to do what we can to make sure demand is met.
